Tano & Gina Williams
My passion for creating food that invokes special feelings and my wife’s love of serving others are a perfect combination! We are privileged to be surrounded by amazing and crazy talented people that help us bring those experiences to our guests.
Passion for great tasting food comes from pulling on my grandmother's apron strings growing up wanting to learn how to cook. With a culinary art degree, baking and pastry and a bachelors in business admin with a focus in hospitality from Sullivan University I joined Tano as sous chef and helped open Tano Bistro and Catering. Now 9 years later my own family has grown with my Tano family and I couldn't feel more at home.
I started working in the restaurant industry while in college and then spent 15 years in corporate sales and marketing at a Fortune 500. After taking some time off to being a mommy, my heart pulled me back toward the service industry. Now I get to work with the Tano family doing something I love with people I love.
Head Pastry Chef
Inspired by my Grandmother, I come from a family that loves to cook and eat. I made the big move from the Philippines to the U.S where I met my husband and had two beautiful kids. I used my enthusiasm to work my way up in the industry starting at one of the busiest restaurants in downtown Cincinnati. With experience at the world-renowned Torrey Pines Golf Course in California and serving as the Bakery Assistant Manager for an International Market, I am now one of the newest members of the Tano family as their head Pastry Chef.
I grew up in Loveland hunting the Frogman and other wild critters along the Little Miami River. After working at a few of the local Loveland restaurants, I was eager to take on new challenges- traveling the country and seeking opportunities for new culinary experiences. I always had a place in my heart for the town I called home; so, when Tano reached out about the future plans for the Bistro, the excitement began and a call was heard.
Executive Sous Chef
Born and raised in Cincinnati, I have been cooking since I was old enough to reach the stovetop at my Grandmother's house. As I became older, I found a love for the arts through the Jazz Ensemble while studying History and Philosophy at Xavier University. Since joining the Tano family four years ago, I have been able to witness the power of food within the local community.
There is nothing more fulfilling than seeing the hard work put into an event fall into place. My role with Tano Catering allows me to be involved from the conception of the ideas to the planning, creation and execution of events, parties and weddings. The mood of a room can change from stress and worry, to happiness and laughter, with the smell of something familiar and one scrumptious bite. Being part of the Tano family gives me the opportunity to offer fresh, interesting flavors to unsuspecting taste buds.
Assistant General Manager
In West Cincinnati, born and raised, on the playground was where I spent most of my days. At the age of 22 I was given an opportunity to leave the city of Cincinnati and begin what would be a 5 year trip across the country to help manage, open and fix restaurants. Through the years of learning the restaurant industry and traveling the country, I met and got to know a great friend, David Miller. When David told me about this great opportunity, to be a part of something extraordinary in his hometown of Loveland, it was clear that it was an opportunity of a lifetime.
